Fundraising Events

Bowl For Kids’ Sake – This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and guaranteed the most fun you will ever have in rented shoes! This event will take place in July 2020 at the Belt Entertainment. To participate, get a group of friends together to raise some funds for BBBS St. Joe. To reward your team for their fundraising efforts, we throw you a bowling party complete with pizza and beer (or soda). All money raised from this event helps support our current matches and helps us make new matches for the 40 (plus) children on the wait list. Check out our recap video from our previous event below!

The Big Swing Charity Golf Tournament – This event is now a staple for BBBS, and is being held in partnership with the St. Joseph Country Club. If you are interested in signing up your team please contact

Make Believers Ball – This will be a family friendly, semi-formal ball (costumes encouraged) that includes a multitude of experiences with the ticket price. We are currently looking at hosting this larger than life event only every other year, so stay tuned.

BBBS Annual Spaghetti Dinner – this is an annual event for BBBS, and is held in November. This event is an easy way to support BBBS by purchasing a $10 ticket for all you can eat spaghetti, salad, and breadsticks from Olive Garden. Look for this event in 2020.

BBBS Annual Gold Fish Races – This is an annual event for BBBS, and is held in January each year in partnership with the Hi-Ho. At this fun filled event, we auction off goldfish and race them.

Recruitment Events

Recruitment Events are held every Tuesday at D&G for Taco Tuesday. Info sessions are also held throughout the year at the Big Brothers Big Sisters office. For information about times and dates of info sessions please contact Cheyenne Lynch at
